Over time, the waterfall has gained popularity as a tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the country. The local authorities have taken steps to develop the area around the falls, providing facilities for visitors while ensuring the preservation of its natural beauty.
One can only be in awe of this place. Please do yourself a favour and visit it during Monsoon. Only then can you truly admire this magnificent falls. Kudos to the government as well for the carefully maintained stairs. Whats best about this falls is the sheer size of the whole setup, as you admire the mountains and trains of misty clouds breezing by. Stunning.
Worth to Visit but Up & Down 300 steps it's tooo awesome experience. A breath taking view - worth the journey one has to make from Coorg … The waterfall is majestic, the stairs to the fall add to the overall experience as the view keeps growing on you .. Well maintained and clean surroundings. Carry own water and refreshments. And a Camera 😃
Beautiful waterfalls during peak monsoon. It’s a sight to behold when it rains. Be careful if you are planning to trek down , it will be slippery and any fall would be disastrous. Roads leading to the falls is narrow and loads of water puddles and beware overflowing bridges during monsoons. However the visual beauty is awesome during monsoons.
It's just breathtaking. We have never witnessed such a huge and ferocious waterfall and it might be because of the monsoon. Parking charges is Rs.60 for a four wheeler. The steps reach a very far area below and it keeps going. You can go till mid for a better view. Please stay safe and use proper slippers or better to walk with bare feet. I walked with bare feet that helped me not from skidding. There is a small shop with maggi, pineapple and other basic eateries. There's also a washroom available but I am not sure about how clean it is.
