Constructed during the reign of the Kachchhapaghata dynasty in the 9th century, the Chausath Yogini Temple served as a center for tantric practices. The 64 Yoginis were considered powerful goddesses, and the temple was a site for rituals and worship aimed at harnessing their energy. Legend has it that the temple's design inspired the Indian Parliament building.
