Dixit Wada, where the museum is located, was originally built as a residence for devotees visiting Shirdi. Constructed under the guidance of Kakasaheb Dixit, a prominent follower of Sai Baba, the building served as a lodging and gathering place for pilgrims. After Sai Baba's Samadhi (death), the Wada was converted into a museum to preserve and showcase his personal belongings. The museum has grown over the years, with new artifacts and exhibits added to enhance the visitor experience. It stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of Sai Baba and the unwavering faith of his devotees.
