Kanyakumari Wildlife Sanctuary - Where adventure roars!

Established in 1976, the Kanyakumari Wildlife Sanctuary was created to protect the region's rich biodiversity and natural habitats. The area has historically been a vital corridor for wildlife movement, particularly elephants, between the Western and Eastern Ghats. Before its official designation as a sanctuary, the forests were subject to some degree of logging and agricultural encroachment.
