Church Museum - Miracles etched in time!

The Church Museum was established to preserve and showcase the rich history of the Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health. The Basilica's origins trace back to the 16th century, with accounts of apparitions of the Virgin Mary to a shepherd boy and a crippled boy. These events led to the construction of a small shrine, which gradually expanded over the centuries to accommodate the growing number of pilgrims. The museum collects and displays items related to these historical events, including replicas of the original apparitions, testimonies of miracles, and historical vestments. The museum serves as a repository of faith, documenting the enduring legacy of Velankanni as a place of healing and divine intervention.
