About Somnath Temple
Somnath is the first among the 12 Jyotirlingas. Destroyed and rebuilt seven times through history, the current structure (rebuilt 1951, led by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel) is a masterpiece of Chalukya-style architecture on the Arabian Sea coast.
