Birthplace of the Khalsa
Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib at Anandpur Sahib is one of the five Takhts of Sikhism and the site where Guru Gobind Singh created the Khalsa on Baisakhi in 1699. The gurdwara preserves sacred weapons of the Guru. Anandpur Sahib is also the vibrant venue of the annual Hola Mohalla festival with Nihang martial displays.
