One of the best places to learn basics about space. Best place for all age groups as there's something for each and everyone. Highly educational and useful for middle school, high school and college students. The outdoor park has many science experiments illustrated greatly. The parabolic sound transmission is the best amongst these. Shows are designed very beautifully to explain the phenomenon in understandable terms. Sky theatre is a visual treat and a printout of our weight in different planets is a must-have souvenir. Overall, the best place to fill a day or two with quality of education.

There are limited show in planetarium. You have first known about them. For English and kannad both have different timings. Ticket are sold offline just before 1 hour from the show. In waiting time , you can enjoy in science park which is better place for children. Children take interest in activities. There are about 60 science activities are there. Every activities are detail written on board about their principle of science, how is this happening .

A must visit place in Bangalore with your family and friends. Sky theatre is pretty fascinating. We visited the planetarium for the first time and loved the experience. There was a show in the sky theatre which depicted Geography, space, astrology and much more. Great place to take your kids to limit the screen time and indulge into an immersive experience and get amazing insights about space. There is a small park for kids where the play area is filled with things related to science, planets and space. The charge for the Sky theatre show was 75 Rs per head for adults and 50Rs for kids which is worth every penny.

Pretty awesome planetarium located in a beautiful peaceful part of Bangalore. Went for a show on the solar system. In truth, I just wanted to check it out for my nephew. It’s built in a fairly large area which hosts a large science based play park before the sky auditorium. I bought the tickets online which was a breeze. Otherwise the ticket counter gets pretty crowded around show times. Everything was quite smooth. The gates to the auditorium opened quite punctually and everyone was lead to their seats without any chaos. As for the auditorium or sky theatre as they call it, it’s fairly small and I’d advice to get seats at the back. Otherwise be prepared for some neck strain. The show itself was quite delightful and during the scenes where they were showing the surface of planets, it felt like I was right there. Got a bit dizzy! They also have a food area where simple snacks and ice creams are served. There’s a lot of parking space as well and place seems to have all facilities. Definitely a fun place to bring kids along.
