Gingee Fort is a historic site that's perfect for hikers and history lovers! The hike to the top is challenging but rewards you with stunning views, while the ancient architecture at the base is fascinating. If you’re heading up, bring 2-3 bottles of water—it's a long and demanding climb, but absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

🎫This is basically a historical place and not much recommended for picnics. 🎫There are two forts in parallel hills. 🎫Not more of enjoying spot. 🎫It has a magnificent fort at the top of the hills. 🎫There are many natural water sources at this hill. 🎫 We have to bring ourselves all the needies by our own. 🎫It's just 3 to 4 kms from the main town of gingee. It will be better if we take our own vehicle. 🎫 Medium weather day is ideal to visit these forts 🎫Beware of monkeys.

A very good place to spend a whole day. Please make sure that you reach there by morning itself. After 3 PM they won't allow you to climb the mountain. There are a lot of monkeys also. So please be careful on that. Also please cross check the tickets that you get. There are chances for fraud in the counter itself. Rest everything is good and a well maintained place.
