It's one the beautiful unesco heritage site which is preserved by ASI. Well managed and info rich fort along with beautiful history of War tactics, township arrangement and resourceful in itself. It hardly takes any time to visit such a beautiful place along with scenic view.
🎫This is basically a historical place and not much recommended for picnics. 🎫There are two forts in parallel hills. 🎫Not more of enjoying spot. 🎫It has a magnificent fort at the top of the hills. 🎫There are many natural water sources at this hill. 🎫 We have to bring ourselves all the needies by our own. 🎫It's just 3 to 4 kms from the main town of gingee.It will be better if we take our own vehicle. 🎫 Medium weather day is ideal to visit these forts 🎫Beware of monkeys.
A very good place to spend a whole day. Please make sure that you reach there by morning itself. After 3 PM they won't allow you to climb the mountain. There are a lot of monkeys also. So please be careful on that. Also please cross check the tickets that you get. There are chances for fraud in the counter itself. Rest everything is good and a well maintained place.
