Sai Baba of Shirdi
Shirdi is home to the Samadhi Mandir of Sai Baba, one of India's most visited spiritual destinations, drawing millions across faiths. Sai Baba, who lived here in the 19th–20th century, preached love, tolerance and 'Sabka Malik Ek' (one God for all). The white marble shrine enshrines his samadhi and a life-size statue. The complex includes Dwarkamai, Chavadi and Gurusthan.
Sai Baba attained mahasamadhi in 1918. The Samadhi Mandir was built over his tomb; the sansthan trust now manages a vast pilgrim infrastructure.
