The foundation stone of ISKCON Bangalore was laid in 1988 by the founder of ISKCON, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Inspired by his vision, the temple was completed and inaugurated in 1997. It quickly gained popularity as a major spiritual destination, attracting devotees and visitors from all over the world. The temple complex has since expanded to include various facilities, including a guesthouse, bookstore, and restaurant, catering to the needs of its visitors.
A place that one could come again and again, and never go back empty handed. Its quite peaceful, within the chaos too! People all around, chanting Hare Krishna and somehow different people and it still feels soothing within the anonymity of each other. The staff that works here , is quite nice and kind, always up with the nature of helping people❤️
The visit to the ISKCON temple was a calm and meditative experience. Three hours was enough time to ponder deeply and fully immerse oneself in the peaceful ambiance. Taking part in the Aarti, a devotional event with upbeat chanting, music, and the lively energy of the community, was the highlight. The visit was peaceful and spiritually enlightening because of the temple's architecture and hallowed surroundings. ⛩️
