    History

The Hira Lal Bedia Haveli was commissioned by a wealthy merchant family, the Bedias, in the 19th century. Like other merchant families in Shekhawati, the Bedias used their wealth to build grand havelis that served as both residences and displays of their social standing. The frescoes that adorn the haveli were created by local artists who drew inspiration from various sources, including religious texts, historical events, and contemporary life. Over time, the haveli has been maintained, but some of the original artwork has faded. Today, it stands as a testament to the artistic and architectural heritage of the Shekhawati region, attracting tourists and researchers alike.
