    About this circuit

The original Char Dham, established by Adi Shankaracharya, spans the four corners of India: Badrinath in the north (Vishnu), Jagannath Puri in the east, Rameswaram in the south (Shiva), and Dwarka in the west (Krishna). Completing all four is considered the ultimate Hindu pilgrimage. Because the shrines are so far apart, most pilgrims plan it leg-by-leg over 20–25 days by a mix of flights and trains.
